Private Second Story Bed and Bath - Commom Area Shared Apartments (Shared Housing)

Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my 12-month lease at Merced Station, in a B2 Private apartment layout (2 beds, 2 baths – private bedroom and bathroom). The lease began in July, and I’m looking for someone to take it over starting around... January 1st, about 17 days before UC Merced’s spring semester begins—perfect for new or transferring students.

You’d be taking over the lease for the remaining 7 months (January through July).

-The leasing office has stated that:

-The lease is unbreakable, so reletting is the only option for me.

-I am responsible for finding a qualified person to take over the lease (they’re flexible on how you qualify).

-There is a $350 reletting fee, which I will cover.

Utilities such as gas, electricity, high-speed internet, trash, sewer, and water are included as a single, tacked-on charge with rent. In my experience, this amount has never exceeded $100/month. (Internet is a one time charge of $99 to get gig speed internet)

I’ve never had any problems with the apartment—everything has been clean, quiet, and in great condition throughout my stay. The staff is helpful, and the location is convenient.

The reason I’m leaving is that I’ve been accepted into an international study abroad program through UCEAP, which overlaps with the spring and summer terms here.
